I've driven the Fit (EX with premium tires) three (3) months to work 21 miles each way in Florida Summer weather (both wet and dry), and climate control is excellent. Outstanding road manners (maneuverability, acceleration, stopping). Visibility for driver and passengers is remarkable. Parking lots are very easy to navigate, especially with the 3-view backing camera. The lane-watch feature I never had in a car before, and did not realize what I was missing--love it. I would recommend putting it on the driver's side as well for future models. Ride is reasonably smooth for a small car. I love the seats as they are quite comfortable, and flexibly built. The only thing which could use improvement on the entire car (thus far) is the auto-dimming headlights. They are good, but not great. The technology needs to mature more, no doubt. I took the car on a trip from NW Florida to Chattanooga, and experienced marvelous fuel economy (39+ MPG). Day to day mileage is closer to 36/37 MPG (I drive pretty calmly most days). The auto-collision avoidance system is good, as is the Lane-keeping assist, etc. They don't drive the car for you, but they keep you honest, and aware, which I appreciate, especially for the price paid. The configurability of door locks/entry, lights, and safety systems etc. is an excellent thing to have. Being able to configure, for example the aggressiveness of the anti-collision spacing, etc., is really useful. Most of the safety systems (other than ABS and seatbelts) didn't exist when my last car was manufactured (1997 Honda Accord). Nice to have a car built with 21st century (up-to-date) tech, and with Honda's styling/road manners. 5 stars so far. Will post updated review after 15K miles.

Like the car, What's funny is the rear seat has more room than the front. A couple more inches in the front would be better for us taller folks. I change my own oil. The plastic engine underguard is inferior and the pins flyout. Twice I have had to jack it up and replace some of them. I try to use the exact replacement parts as what came out of it if any need replacement. The car does get pretty good mileage as I always drive highway. 44-45 mpg. For a small car it does get up and go pretty well. Too. You can run 65 all day long with ac running and still get 44-45 mpg on all highway trips even loaded with 5-6 suitcases. AC works Ok for the front people. But people in the rear have made minor complaints in the hot summer time that they could use more cooling there.

Have had numerous problems, each time just after the warranty expired: new starter, brakes, spark plugs, and now an oil leak. Have spent over $3000 on repairs already. Also, the service folks at the dealership told me I had a significant oil leak and it would cost almost $2000 to fix. When I told them I'd be getting a second opinion they downgraded the leak to "small" on their assessment form. Did take it to a very reputable repair shop and ended up with numerous repairs, but not the ones the dealer service dept identified. Runs well for the moment, but I've sure paid mightily for it. This car has nice features, but I'll be going back to Toyota. Much more reliable.
